Frequently Asked Questions

1. How big are your cupcakes? At Jilly's our everyday cupcakes are gourmet (jumbo) sized cupcakes. Once they are stuffed and decorated they weigh about 1/2 pound each... big enough to satisfy your sweetest desires, or enough to share, if you dare.

2. Are these your only size cupcakes? NO, here at Jilly's we also offer a standard size cupcake (about the size you can bake at home) and we have mini's which are a bite and a half. Please contact us because we make these cupcakes for special-orders.

3. Should I put my cupcakes in the refrigerator? Jilly's cupcakes do not like to be refrigerated, and do best in a cool, room-temperature environment. We suggest you eat your cupcakes the day you purchase them.

4. Is there a discount if I order a large amount of cupcakes? Jilly's cupcakes are priced individually. If you order 12 gourmet cupcakes, you get the 13th cupcake free, which is a vanilla or chocolate.

5. Do you deliver? Yes, Jilly's recommends 48-hour notice for the delivery of cupcakes and/or box lunches, catering, etc.

6. Is there a minimum for delivery? No, the only fee that applies is the delivery fee which is based upon the order and specific area in which the cupcakes are being delivered.

7. My company is interested in box lunches and catering and special cupcakes with our logo - is this something Jilly's does? Yes, we are happy to supply you with box lunches, and the minimum is 10 lunches. 8. Do you ship your products? While we do not ship cupcakes, we are happy to send Jilly's Parfaits, which is a essentially a cupcake which has been layered into a container to ensure quality and freshness. We only ship parfaits overnight. (Especially during summer months - due to the warm weather conditions, icing can melt.) Also, we do not offer any cream cheese/whipped cream/curds/cheesecake in parfaits. We are happy to substitute any of these items for a similar product that it more resistant to shipping.

9. Can I have a private party at Jilly's? We do offer room rentals for any occasion - from birthday parties to bridal showers. Please contact Debra at debra@jillyscupcakebar.com.

10. What is a Sprinkle Party? A Sprinkle party is an event in which you can decorate your own cupcake - it includes stuffing, icing, and sprinkles. Soft drinks and/or milk are provided. Price is $10/person and requires a 48-hour notice. We also also sprinkle parties that include appetizers, cocktails and cupcakes, pricing varies.

11. Do you create custom cupcakes? Yes, we are happy to design and create any cupcake for any occasion. You can call 314.993.5455 or e-mail peter@jillyscupcakebar.com for more information, questions, or concerns.

12. How far in advance to I need to place a special order? We are happy to fulfill any special custom order within 24 hours. If it is a larger cupcake order, please give us 2 -3 days time. If you find yourself in a last-minute crunch, we will do our best to accommodate you in any way we can.

13. What about cupcakes for weddings? Jilly's is happy to design cupcakes for your big day! We can custom create any color or style on any flavor/size of cupcake you'd like. Jilly's also offers traditional 6" topper cakes for the bride and groom to cut into, and we can also do groom's cakes.

14. How will my cupcakes be displayed? We would be happy to rent you one of our beautiful small or large stands, depending on the size of your event.

15. If I call ahead, am I able to pick my favorite flavor? At Jilly's, we have a monthly rotation. Although our cupcakes change regularly, please give us a call to see if we can accommodate your flavor selection.

16. I have a nut allergy. Can I eat your cupcakes? Although some of our cupcakes do not have nuts on top of them, all of our cupcakes are made in a bakery where nuts and peanut dust are present.

17. Are any of your cupcakes gluten-free/sugar-free/vegan? At this time, we are sorry to say that all of our cupcakes contain gluten and are not vegan or sugar-free. We do offer a Cheesecake that has a nut/honey/toffee crust which is gluten free.

18. Does Jilly's donate? Yes! Since we opened in 2007, Jilly's has been committed to giving back to charities that are involved with helping and protecting children, cancer research, as well as many area-wide charities. However, we are already committed for the 2011 year and through June 2012.
